How to get involved in Children’s Ministry…

All Volunteers must be Safe Shepherds! Safe Shepherds are volunteers that work directly with children, and must comply with the Child Safety Policy. Contact Charlene Hale for an application (chale@livingfaithumc.com)

Vacation Bible School

Volunteers are needed for June 16-20 and July 21-25. Click on the dates you are available, and register to help.

Sunday Morning Alive
Volunteers are needed to share Christ and help children grow in their knowledge of the Bible on Sunday's from 9 - 10 a.m. Volunteers must be available from 8:45 until 10:05 a.m.

Teacher: Teachers plan and lead classes of children from the given curriculum. During the school year, classes are Preschool (ages 3-5), Kindergarten, 1st/2nd grades, 3rd/4th grades, and 5th-8th grades. During the summer, classes are Preschool - Kindergarten, 1st-4th grades, and 5th-8th grades.

Helper: Volunteers are needed to assist the teacher in the classroom on a rotating basis. No advanced preparation is required.

Substitute: Volunteers are needed to fill in for teachers and helpers when called.

For Children Only Worship!
Volunteers are needed to share Christ and worship with children on Sunday mornings during the 10:30 worship service.

Leaders: Volunteers will take children from church during worship, and lead a short worship time, including a small lesson - once a month. Lesson is provided and minimal preparation is needed.

Helpers: Volunteers are needed to assist the leaders on a rotating basis. No advance preparation is required.

Substitutes: Volunteers are needed to fill in for teachers and helpers when called.

Faith & Fellowship

Volunteers are needed to share Christ on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Large Group Leaders: Present the night's Bible lesson and worship, and lead games.

Helpers: Volunteers are needed to assist the leaders on a rotating basis. No advance preparation is required.
