Your Wedding!

Congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding! Thank you for thinking of Living Faith United Methodist Church as part of your plans. Having your wedding in the church implies that you are planning a Christian wedding, as opposed to a civil ceremony. Therefore, we require certain elements to be part of the ceremony and part of your life as you come together before God in Christian marriage.

- We want to discuss the meaning and significance of a Christian marriage with you so that everyone involved; the bride and groom, wedding party and guests, will understand and respect the Christian wedding as an act of worship before God.

- The pastor will discuss with you your desire to have a "church wedding", including your faith background and any current or former church affiliation.

- Before planning your wedding at Living Faith UMC, we require that you attend worship with us at least three times. This will deepen your understanding of the spiritual importance of worshipping together as a couple both now and after your marriage.
