This month's article is dedicated to letting all of you know about this change and what it means to the youth ministry.

Christ: This is the first letter of our name acronym for a very good reason. Christ is the first thing that our youth ministry is going to be about. He is the center, the reason for what we do. EVERYTHING that we do in our ministry will be about glorifying God. We are NOT a social club. We will do tons of fun stuff for our students, but it will all be focused on glorifying Him.

Related: Our group is seeking to become an outwardly focused group. We dont just want to be about our own walks with God. We want to focus on our un-reached friends and bringing them to a saving knowledge of our Lord. Also, we are going to focus in youth group on relating Christ to the students.

Experienced: We are going to be taking a look at the REAL Jesus Christ this year in youth group. We are going to spend a lot of time looking at how He lived life and how that should change the way that we experience life. God is not just a person to be studied, He is a powerful friend that wants to live inside our lives and impact our experiences.

Worshipped: Jesus Christ! Do I need to say anything else. Worship is the last letter of our name. If the CREW is a hamburger (mmmmm...hamburgers), then Christ is the bottom (the foundation) of the bun, and worship is the crown (top part of the bun). Like I said earlier, we are about bringing all glory to GOD!!! Worship will be a part of everything we do in this ministry, and therefore it is the activity that leads us to our Lord related and experienced. He is worthy, so we will worship Him!
